But when it proves to not be as easy as she had hoped, Sharpay must sing and perform better than ever to get noticed in the Big Apple. After meeting student filmmaker Peyton (Austin Butler), Sharpay's luck begins to change for the better, but the pair must watch out for the dastardly deeds of rival dog owner Roger Elliston (Bradley Steven Perry) and his spoiled pooch Countess
Even though Sharpay Evans has been more of the "princess type" in the past, Tisdale lets us know that Sharpay may have evolved into a more vulnerable character: "One of my favorite songs [in the movie] is called 'New York's Best Kept Secret'... it's really the song that shows Sharpay in a totally different light. She's more vulnerable, she doesn't have all the set dressings, she's by herself on stage and it's a really beautiful song."'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure' DVD and original soundtrack are available now via Disney.
